At Optimal Behavioral Health Services, we strive to provide the best mental health treatment possible. We accept most major health insurance plans in the region. We also offer self- pay options and can provide rates upon request.

What billing or insurance information will I receive?

Your insurance will provide you with an explanation of your benefits. The remaining balances will be charged to your credit card on file.

How long will it take to get things settled with the insurance company?

Generally, it takes from 30 to 60 days to obtain payment from an insurance carrier.​

I received a notice that my insurance company has paid on my bill -- but I can't understand how they calculated their payment amount. Do you know?

If we have received any such information from your insurance company, we'll be glad to share it with you. However, for answers to any questions about insurance payments, deductibles, or co-payments, you generally need to check with your insurance company.

You are protected from "balanced billing". This means that you cannot be charged in excess of what your insurance is contracted to pay for your services, except for in rare circumstances and if consent was given for this billing arangement prior to services being rendered.

Good Faith Estimate: Upon request, you can receive a written estimate of the cost of your services prior to your appointment.

If a providers insurance network status changes, options for continuity of care will be provided.

If you think you have been wrongly billed you have the right to contest this and file a complaint. You can contact the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification (OPLC) at enforcement.complaints@oplc.nh.gov.
